For the past two days we've been in Rome doing as the Romans do! From what we can tell, that mostly means eating gelato for every meal, which is just fine by us! It was quite the journey to get here- train, bus, ferry, train, subway, taxi-and now here we are in our cozy little cabin just outside "The Eternal City." Rome is incredible! Around every corner is a beautiful old church or a sunny square with a fountain in the center and flower boxes in the windows. And always a gelato shop. I wish we had photos of all the incredible things we've seen- the Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum, the Spanish Steps- but sadly both our camera batteries died... Luckily we do have photos of everything we've eaten on this trip. We have our priorities straight :)
