That's all folks! After a 27-hour(!) day, we arrived safely home at around 1:00 this morning. Thanks for following along with us on this amazing, crazy, wonderful journey!

I'll try to keep updating this little blog... Probably nothing as exciting as traveling across Europe, just my silly musings and tidbits from my life, but feel free to stop by every once in a while!

We like Scotland because it has a lot of castles and a lot of souvenirs with our name on them. And Loch Ness. We LOVE Loch Ness.

(These pictures were mostly taken through the window of a moving bus, so just pretend that they're nice, ok?)
There is a picture of Utah at the travel agency across the street from our bus stop in Edinburgh. In two days, we'll be there!

London is nice even in the rain. We were feeling too lazy and soggy to walk to all the sites, but that was ok because the buses drove right past everything we wanted to see!

Now we are in Edinburgh, where it is also rainy. And that's also ok, because a sunshiny Scotland would just be silly.

Today we Chunnelled to London! Where it is raining. Tomorrow we are buying an umbrella and visiting the Rosetta stone.

Also, we finally got our passports stamped! It only took 3 weeks and 9 countries, so thank you England!

Once upon a time we went to Amsterdam, and it rained. So we stayed home and ate some baked goods and drank some tea and read some books. (Ok, I read a blog.) And it was lovely.
Amsterdam is cold and rainy, but we like it anyway. Today we went to the Anne Frank house and everyone here loves bikes.

Tomorrow we are taking the chunnel to London and a week after that we are coming home! Pretty crazy huh?

I don't even know what to say about Paris. It was perfect. We stayed in a tiny studio apartment and it felt so grown-up and independent to come home to our own little place at night. We felt like locals shopping at the fruit stands and bakeries, except we were the only ones there who had to try one of every single dessert!

After our whirlwind last week it was so relaxing to stay in one place for four whole nights. We spent our first day just strolling around our neighborhood and sitting in the park. The change of pace was just what we needed and it felt so nice not to have to lug a heavy bag through various train and subway stations every single day.

When we finally worked up enough energy to go into the city for some sightseeing, we headed straight for the Eiffel Tower. And it was awesome. We got off the metro and started wandering along with the crowd. We were just hoping we were headed the right way and kind of wondering why we couldn't see it when we turned the corner and all of a sudden there it was. Guys, it is incredible. We just walked around grinning like idiots because we were at The Eiffel Tower. And it gets even better at night. I don't know why more monuments don't sparkle, because you can't go wrong with glitter. The Statue of Liberty needs to get with the program.

The rest of our time in Paris went pretty much like that. We would get to another amazing, bucket-list-status landmark and it would hit us all over again that yes, we really are in Paris! And then we would smile some more.
